DescriptionThe Community Mental Health Psychologist Survey (Rossi et al., 1961) was developed to collect data on the activities of psychologists involved in community mental health. It also aimed to understand the opinions of these psychologists regarding the education and training needs of those involved in community mental health. The survey consists of 7 sections: Present Activities, Future Activities (anticipated), Desired Content Areas for education and training programs, Level for Education and Training, Locus for Predoctoral Training, Locus for Postdoctoral Training, Influences in the Development of Interest in Community Mental Health, and General Comments. The survey uses multiple-choice, listing, and short-answer response formats.
