The purpose of this survey is to assess participants’ cognitive, reflective, and affective dimensions of wisdom.

Administration Method and Scoring

Participants will respond to a series of statements using a Likert scale for both the cognitive dimension (3D-WS) and reflective dimension (3D-WS), rating their agreement or truthfulness with the provided statements. The scoring for these dimensions is as follows:
– 认知维度 (Cognitive Dimension): Mean of 14 items. Alpha = .78 (time 1) and .85 (time 2).
– 反思维度 (Reflective Dimension): Mean of 12 items. Alpha = .75 (time 1) and .71 (time 2).
– 情感维度 (Affective Dimension): Mean of 13 items. Alpha = .74 (time 1) and .72 (time 2).

自我反思 (Reflective Dimension):

– 如果我的现状有所改变，我会觉得好得多。

情感维度 (Affective Dimension):

– 我对那些只为自己感到不快的人感到烦恼。
– 人们过于关注动物的感受。
– 有些人是我永远都不会喜欢的。
– 当看到需要帮助的人时，我努力以某种方式帮助他们。

Cognitive Dimension:

– In this complicated world of ours, the only way we can know what’s going on is to rely on leaders or experts who can be trusted

Reflective Dimension:
How strongly do you agree or disagree with the following statements? (1 = strongly agree to 5 = strongly disagree)
– Things often go wrong for me by no fault of my own
– I would feel much better if my present circumstances changed

Affective Dimension:
How strongly do you agree or disagree with the following statements? (1 = strongly agree to 5 = strongly disagree)
– I am annoyed by unhappy people who just feel sorry for themselves
– People make too much of the feelings and sensitivity of animals
– There are some people I know I would never like
– If I see people in need, I try to help them one way or another
