Psychological stress refers to the confusion or threat that various stimulating events and adverse factors in life create for individuals on a psychological level, manifested as mental and physical tension and discomfort. Stress is an inevitable phenomenon that has emerged alongside the development of modern society.

Administration Method and Scoring

The scale consists of 14 items and uses a Likert 5-point scoring method (“Never” to “Always”) assigned values from 0 to 4. The total score ranges from 0 to 56, with higher scores indicating higher levels of perceived stress.

Reliability and Validity

The overall Cronbach’s α coefficient of the scale is 0.78.

– 失控感 (Loss of Control)
