De Motor Assessment Scale is een fysieke performance test waarbij de patiënt 8 motorische tests (in lig, zit, stand, lopen en arm- en hand activiteiten) moet uitvoeren. Bovendien wordt de algehele tonus van het lichaam gedurende de hele test door de therapeut geobserveerd en beoordeeld.
