Description
Aggressive behavior refers to intentional and purposeful actions aimed at destroying objects or harming others, representing a significant social issue. The incidence of aggressive behavior is particularly high among children and adolescents. As early as 1996, the World Health Organization recognized aggressive behavior as an important global public health issue. Longitudinal study evidence indicates that aggressive behavior during adolescence can significantly predict violent criminal behavior in adulthood, as well as increase the risks of alcohol dependence, drug dependence, depression, and suicidal behaviors. Adolescent aggression has long-lasting and detrimental effects on personal development and societal stability. Existing research suggests that adolescents with high aggression levels are more likely to suffer from mental health issues, non-suicidal self-injury, and social relationship difficulties.

Administration Method and Scoring
A multi-stage stratified cluster sampling method was employed to collect data from 15 cities across five provinces in China (Anhui, Yunnan, Guangdong, Heilongjiang, Hubei). Systematic sampling was conducted within each urban district to select 2–3 ordinary primary, junior high, and high schools. Samples from grades 4-6 in primary schools, grades 1-3 in junior high schools, and grades 1-3 in high schools were included. After excluding students with severe psychological disorders (such as depression, anxiety, compulsive disorders, etc.), questionnaires were administered by class. A total of 25,000 questionnaires were distributed, with 24,466 returned, resulting in a response rate of 97.86%. Among these, 23,904 questionnaires were valid, giving an effective rate of 97.70%. The average age of participants was 13.44 (±2.77) years, with a male-to-female ratio of 0.96:1.
