The HAPpEN Patient Survey (König et al., 2025) is designed to assess the health status of rural residents, their perceived access to opportunities for healthy eating and physical activity, and their use of digital devices and interventions related to health. The instrument was developed for a study involving patients from general practitioner practices in rural Bavaria. The survey utilizes items based on multiple sources to measure these constructs.
