Adolescent Non-suicidal Self-injury Assessment Questionnaire – Chinese Version

Description

Non-suicidal self-injury (NSSI) generally refers to the intentional and direct harm done to one’s own body, without the intent of suicide, and it is not recognized by society and culture. The Adolescent Non-suicidal Self-injury Assessment Questionnaire (ANSAQ) compiled by the Wan Yuhui team assesses these behaviors through a questionnaire containing twelve items related to self-injury behaviors, including the occurrence and frequency of each behavior. The questionnaire has a Cronbach’s alpha coefficient of 0.921, and the test-retest reliability is 0.843. Using the Functional Assessment of Self-Mutilation (FASM) as a benchmark, the criterion validity correlation coefficient is 0.859, indicating high reliability and stability for evaluating adolescent NSSI.
