Autism Spectrum Disorder Knowledge Questionnaire (ASD-Q)
Description
The Autism Spectrum Disorder Knowledge Questionnaire (ASD-Q) (Taresh et al., 2024) was developed to assess the knowledge of Yemeni preschool teachers regarding autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and their ability to identify autism symptoms in children. The instrument was adapted from the Autism Stigma and Knowledge Questionnaire (Harrison et al., 2017) and an autism knowledge questionnaire developed by Al-Sharbati et al. (2015). The ASD-Q consists of 27 items categorized into four domains: Diagnosis and Symptoms, Treatment, Etiology, and General Information. Data were gathered from preschool teachers assigned to either an intervention or comparison group, with the intervention group participating in an educational module designed to enhance ASD identification (EMiASD).
