Social Adjustment Scale

Category Details
Description The Social Adjustment Scale (Zarlock, 1961) assesses the social adaptability of blind adults. Developed to explore magical beliefs about blindness and relevant psychological traits, it measures social maturity and problem-solving skills in various areas, excluding psychological behavior. Participants are rated using a five-point scale, with higher scores (0–30) indicating superior adjustment. The scale incorporates input from both social workers and investigators, achieving high reliability.
