De RAQoL is een ziektespecifieke vragenlijst met 30 items om de huidige toestand/kwaliteit van leven van patiënten met reumatoïde artritis in kaart te brengen. De volgende aspecten komen aan bod: stemming en emoties, sociaal leven, hobbies, alledaagse taken, persoonlijke en sociale relaties en fysiek contact. Dit laatste aspect komt niet terug in andere vragenlijsten terwijl het wel een belangrijk item is voor reumapatiënten. De vragenlijst bevat geen subschalen en is snel en eenvoudig te gebruiken.
