De QoLRIQ is een 55-items vragenlijst die de gezondheidstoestand van astma- en COPD-patiënten op het gebied van ademhalingsproblemen, fysieke problemen, emoties, situaties die ademhalingsproblemen uitlokken of verergeren, algemene activiteiten, dagelijkse en huisgebonden activiteiten en sociale activiteiten en relaties en seksualiteit in kaart wil brengen. Hierbij wordt gebruik gemaakt van een 7-punts Likertschaal
