Description

Love is primarily a state of experience, while romantic love is a very special interpersonal relationship based on love, representing both a process and a state. Stenberg proposed the influential Triangular Theory of Love, which has been supported by subsequent research based on an analysis of previous literature. He suggests that the complexity of love derives from the different combinations of three inherent components: intimacy, passion, and decision/commitment.
