Nonattachment Scale – Chinese Version

Description

The term “non-attachment” refers to an individual’s psychological flexibility and lack of fixation. It denotes the ability to adapt to the present circumstances without being affected by the environment, accepting the temporality of life and its unpredictability, and autonomously making choices. Sahdra et al. (2010) developed the “Nonattachment Scale” (NAS) based on this concept and found that an individual’s state of “non-attachment” is positively correlated with various mental health indicators such as acceptance, self-compassion, happiness, autonomy, empathy, altruism, and positive interpersonal interactions.
