Those concrete and identifiable problems patients with chronic mental conditions face in daily life. These could include problems keeping a job or an apartment. After treatment and stabilization of the underlying condition, it is the goal of the therapy to address problems in living to add to the quality of life of the patient. Problems in living can often be addressed in day treatment.
