is an autosomal recessive heredity disorder which displays symptoms such as- cataracts, short in stature, incoordination and involuntary movements of limbs and even mental retardation. The syndrome was first isolated by Georges Marinesco and Torsten Sjogren in the 1930s.
MARINESCO-SJOGRCN SYNDROME: “Those which suffer from Marinesco-Sjorgren syndrome, typically develop both motor problems and even cataracts over their eyes.”
