BORJESON-FORSSMAN-LEHMANN SYNDROME

n. an X-linked disorder in which mental retardation is severe to profound. It is characterized by short stature, microcephaly, and hypogonadism, with little to no pubic hair in adulthood. First described by Swiss physicians Mats Gunnar Borjeson, Hans Axel Forssman, and J.O. Orla Lehmann.

BORJESON-FORSSMAN-LEHMANN SYNDROME: “The Borjeson-Forssman-Lehmann Syndrome is a genetic one which traces back to the mutation of an X-linked recessive gene.”
