n. a test which presents each participant with a series of six sub-tests, each set being assigned a number and consisting of a different kind of stimuli. Feedback is returned on the correctness of a participant’s response given through numbers, after which the participant should be able to identify the principle involved. Also called Halstead Category Test. Designed by U.S. psychologist Ward Halstead in 1947.
