BREAST

n. the human mammary gland which is both glandular and milk-secreting in women. It consists mainly of chest muscle, connective tissue, fat cells, and secretory ducts. Although heredity and body type determine the size of the breast, they tend to enlarge commensurate to body fat and estrogen levels. See gynecomastia.
