BRAIN BIORHYTHM

n. a hypothetical way of applying the principle of biological rhythm to the activity of the brain. Like the rest of the body, the brain does experience periods of excitability and rest, and these are known as oscillations. These changes are observed in an EEG, and they manifest through a variety of brain waves.

BRAIN BIORHYTHM: “It is still an enigma whether or not a person’s birthdate has something to do with his or her brain biorhythm and its level of performance.”
