BEHAVIOR SYSTEM

n. a collection of related activities which are designed to fulfill a common goal or purpose. When these activities are seen as a system, it is possible to understand the phenomenon, note patterns, and make inferences. Being social, though, they vary among individuals of the same culture and between different cultures. Also called activity system.

BEHAVIOR SYSTEM: “When a behavior system is in place, it is possible for a group of activities to carry out a similar function and to reach a common goal.”
