ADDISON’S DISEASE

founded by a British doctor by the name of Thomas Addison, an illness stemming from improper function of the adrenal glands which in turn causes the adrenal hormones to become insufficient. A common sign of this illness is weakness of the muscles with shaking, caused partly by the body’s failure to keep the amount of sugar in the blood at a consistent level.

ADDISON’S DISEASE: “Lindsey’s depression and fatigue had plagued her for six years before being diagnosed and treated for Addison’s Disease, thereby relieving her of her symptoms.”
