To merge multiple cells in Google Sheets, follow these steps:
1. Select the cells that you want to merge
2. Right-click on one of the selected cells
3. Click on “Merge cells” from the drop-down menu
4. The selected cells will now be merged into one cell, with the data from the top-left cell being retained
5. You can also use the shortcut key “Ctrl + Alt + M” to merge cells
Merging cells is useful for organizing data and creating a cleaner layout in your Google Sheets spreadsheet.
CONCAT
Returns the concatenation of two values. Equivalent to the `&` operator.
Sample Usage
CONCAT("de","mystify")
CONCAT(17,76)
Syntax
CONCAT(value1, value2)
value1– The value to whichvalue2will be appended.value2– The value to append tovalue1.
Notes
value1andvalue2can be any scalar value or reference to a scalar value, including numeric and text types.
