the Stakeholder Knowledge Sharing–Measurement Model

the Stakeholder Knowledge Sharing–Measurement Model

Description

The Stakeholder Knowledge Sharing–Measurement Model (Chaudhuri et al., 2025) was developed to investigate how knowledge sharing among a firm’s stakeholders impacts its innovative performance. The instrument was designed for a study conducted with an Indian sample of respondents from different firms. The current constructs were evaluated in this sample using a total of 23 items adapted from previous sources (e.g., Zahra & George, 2002; James & Mondal, 2019). Factor analysis, reliability, and validity results were reported for these items.

Purpose

The primary goal of this measurement model is to enhance our understanding of the role that modern technology usage plays in firm innovation performance.

Validity

Convergent Validity: After estimating the average variance extracted (AVE) of all the constructs, it was found that all the values of AVEs were more than 0.5, which is the recommended lowest value of AVE (Hair et al., 2017).
Discriminant Validity: The square roots of all the AVEs were computed, and it appeared that they were greater than the respective bifactor correlation coefficients.

Reliability

Internal Consistency: Cronbach’s alphas ranged from .87 to .89.

Factor Analysis

Confirmatory Factor Analysis: The estimated values of the loading factors (LFs) of all the instruments were found to be >0.7, which is the recommended lowest value (Chin, 2010).

Test Methodology

The study employed several methodologies to assess the measure, including:

  • Test Validity

  • Convergent Validity

  • Discriminant Validity

  • Test Reliability

  • Internal Consistency

  • Factor Analysis

  • Confirmatory Factor Analysis

  • Measurement Model
