De SAQOL-39-NL is een aangepaste versie van de Stroke-Specific Quality of Life Scale (SS-QOL). Zij is aangepast voor mensen met afasie. De vragenlijst meet de kwaliteit van leven bij CVA-patiënten in de afgelopen week. De SAQOL-39-NL bestaat uit 39 items, die onderverdeeld zijn in 4 subcategorieën, te weten: fysieke mogelijkheden, communicatieve mogelijkheden, psychosociale factoren, energie/sociale mogelijkheden. Een hoge scoring op de lijst komt overeen met een goede kwaliteit van leven.
