Casework Effectiveness Scale (CES-10)

The Casework Effectiveness Scale (CES-10), developed using both EFA and CFA along with the bootstrap procedure, is both valid and highly reliable. It can be used by schools of social work, researchers, and practitioners to measure the effectiveness of casework in different settings. It will also enable social work students to objectively identify whether their casework sessions during fieldwork were successful. Finally, this scale will be helpful for researchers to carry out future studies, including Randomised Controlled Trials (RCTs) that will further strengthen the theoretical foundations of Social Work. No permission is required to use the scale. Please cite it as follows: Krishnan, S. R. G., Sharmila, H., Meena, B. P., Potter, A., & S.K., S. (2025).
