| Description | The Adolescent Student Psychological Need Thwarting Scale (AS-PNTS; Adigun, 2024) was developed to facilitate research on how the relational structure of the learning environment affects adolescent students. The scale was constructed through extensive research, expert peer evaluation, and based on the Psychological Need Thwarting Scale (PNTS; Bartholomew et al., 2011). The 9-item AS-PNTS was tested with grade 7–12 students in a public school district in the Southwest, with results on factor analysis, reliability, and validity reported. |
