Bij de Tourniquet test wordt een bloeddruk manchet proximaal van de elleboog aangelegd en opgepompt totdat de druk hoger is dan de systolische bloeddruk van de patiënt. De test is positief, wanneer doofheid en
tintelingen binnen 60 sec. in het gebied van de n. medianus ontstaan of verergeren
