Description
The concept of academic emotions was proposed by German researcher Pekrun in 2002. It refers to various emotional experiences related to students’ academic activities during teaching and learning processes. Learning for students, especially university students, is not only a process of accumulating knowledge, gaining experience, and developing skills, but also a creative learning process. Education should be student-centered, addressing psychological needs, encouraging students to learn with hope, and facilitating enjoyable learning experiences, which can foster exploration and increase interest and passion for learning, thereby preventing boredom and consequent negative emotions toward learning.
