locus of control

LOCUS OF CONTROL

first proposed by U.S. psychologist Julian Rotter, the locus of control is a construct which attempts to explain the reason behind an individuals basic motivational orientations and their perception of how much control they have over their day to day activities and general life.

LOCUS OF CONTROL: “An individuals locus of control, according to Julian Rotter, provides a reason for their basic motivational orientation and their perception of control.”
