VISUAL FORM AGNOSIA

a form of visual agnosia wherein a person is not capable of recognizing complex items or images, although fundamental visual operations, like acuity and visual thresholds, are preserved in the same area of the visual field. Language and general intellectual operating is additionally preserved; thus whenever people touch the item, they can recognize it accurately.
