UNIPOLAR NEURON

a neuron which has only a sole extension of the cell body. This extension separates into two departments, rooted in converse directions and symbolizing the axon. One end is the receptive pole, and the other end is the output zone. Unipolar neurons convey touch data from the body exterior to the spinal cord.

UNIPOLAR NEURON: “Unipolar neurons are often referred to as monopolar neurons.”
