An order of mammals. The order includes apes, moneys and humans. Primates have opposable thumbs capable of touching other fingers. Primates also have larger brains compared to other animals. Their sight is binocular and they generally have only one offspring at a time. Such offspring take an extended period of time to mature and develop.
