PAVLOV, IVAN PETROVICH

(1849-1936) A Russian physiologist. Ivan Pavlov attained a medical degree from the Military-Medical Academy of Saint Petersburg in 1833. He went on to work in the labs of the German physiologists Carl Ludwig and Rudolph Heidenhain. He then spent the remainder of his working years back at his alma mater. Pavlov
