PANPSYCHISM

noun. the stance postulating that all components of the natural world retain some quality of soul or some type of sentience. Some align this stance with hylozoism, which postulates that all natural items retain the quality of life, whereas other people differentiate between life and soul, or sentience. Commonly referred to as psychism.
