OLFACTORY TRACT

a strip of nerve fibers which starts in the olfactory bulb and continues in reverse along the bottom side of the brain’s frontal lobe to a place referred to as the olfactory trigone- at that place, the tract separates into three bands leading to the lateral and medial olfactory gyri and the olfactory tubercle.
