CAUSE-AND-EFFECT TEST

n. a variety of intelligence tests that measure a participant’s logical and causal reasoning. The test presents alternative causes for various effects, and vice-versa. In turn, the participant is asked to fill in the sentence with the correct cause or to choose the best explanation for the result.

CAUSE-AND-EFFECT TEST: “The Cause-and-Effect Test is often used in grade school, and it challenges children with interesting worksheets.”
