BRAIN CONCUSSION

n. a mild injury inflicted on the brain through jarring or trauma. It temporarily disrupts brain function, resulting in loss of consciousness. It is, however, typically followed by full and spontaneous recovery. Nonetheless, the length of unconsciousness helps determine the severity in injury.

BRAIN CONCUSSION: “If we remember right, the classic symptoms of brain concussion include headache, disorientation, and memory loss.”
