BIOLOGICAL TRANSDUCING SYSTEM

n. the concept that biological systems do have the capacity to convert (or transduce) energy from one form to another. This done through biological processes such as photosynthesis, aerobic and anaerobic respiration, and metabolism as a whole. See transduction.

BIOLOGICAL TRANSDUCING SYSTEM: “The process of converting ADP into energy-rich ATP and back is a classic example of how the Biological Transducing System works.”
