BIOENERGETICS

n. in biochemistry, refers to a field of study which focuses on how energy flows through living systems. In psychotherapy, refers to a therapeutic approach which combines body and mind. Since the body reflects how the mind is, the therapy makes use of mind exercises and postural changes to relieve muscle tension and resolve emotional conflict.
