BERNOULLI TRIAL

n. an experiment in which there are only two possible outcomes: that of either success or failure, with the probability of each occurring being equal. The trials are independent of each other, and the probability of each outcome (0 or 1- success of failure) is constant. Conceptualized by Swiss mathematician Jacques Bernoulli (1655-1705).

BERNOULLI TRIAL: “The Bernoulli Trail studies one of the simplest, most random processes of generating two possible outcomes, much like a coin toss.”
