BEE COMMUNICATION

n. a pattern of movement displayed by bees in order to communicate with each other. Usually done in a figure-of-eight pattern, it is described as both a waggle and round dance. In a language meaningful to bees, these movements indicate the distance and direction leading to a food source or nest site.

BEE COMMUNICATION: “Looking closely at the figure-of-8 method of bee communication, it is a effective language of motions and sounds without the use of words.”
