ACCOMMODATIVE INSUFFICIENCY

a decline in the effectiveness of ocular accommodation, varying from minute to large reductions. Commonly seen in persons with recent neurological damage to oculomotor controls. Marked often by blemished visuals of objects within close proximity.

ACCOMMODATIVE INSUFFICIENCY: “Those with new head traumas that may have affected their eyesight might find themselves struggling to see objects that are closeby due to accommodative insufficiency.”
