Het “Flick sign” wordt ook wel het wapperende handen teken genoemd. De patiënt wordt gevraagd wat hij doet als hij (vooral ’s nachts) veel last heeft. Als de patiënt antwoordt: “wapperen met de handen”, is de test positief.
