ulcerative colitis

Ulcerative Colitis

Ulcerative colitis is an inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) characterized by the digestive tract’s inflammation and sores. The symptoms include diarrhea, abdominal pain, abdominal cramps, rectal pain, rectal bleeding, weight loss (or failure to grow among children), and fatigue. The exact cause is not known; however, an abnormal immune response has been identified as a possible reason.
