Ulcer

Ulcer is a damaged or broken area in a lining of an organ that keeps the organ from functioning like it should. For example, stomach ulcers prevent the stomach lining from keeping stomach acid in the stomach. Ulcers are sometimes caused by stress or by overuse of antiinflammitories, pain relievers, or alcohol.
