visual neglect

VISUAL NEGLECT

a type of sensory neglect wherein the person is not aware of half the visual field. This takes place most frequently within the left visual field after right parietal injury or dysfunction.

VISUAL NEGLECT: “After a massive stroke, Arthur experienced visual neglect or the inability to perceive half of his visual field. “
