Tactioception

Tactioception refers to the body’s ability to feel physical sensations such as smooth, rough, hot, cold, pleasant, painful, etc. This sense uses several modalities; pressure, skin stretch, vibration and temperature to transmit messages to the brain via the sensory neurons.
