OBSERVATION

noun. 1. the deliberate analysis of an item or procedure for the purpose of gathering facts about it or recounting one’s conclusions based upon what has been seen 2. a piece of data.

OBSERVATION: “The staffs’ observation of the patient lead to an agreed-upon diagnosis of pneumonia.”
