MODIFIED RHYME TEST (MRT)

was first developed by Arthur S. House, Carl E. Williams, Michael Flecker and the psychoacoustician Karl D. Kryter (1914 -), the test aims to evaluate the participants auditory processing skills. They are played a single-syllable word and they must identify it from a list of words printed.

MODIFIED RHYME TEST (MRT): “The modified rhyme test aims at testing participants’ auditory processing skills which involves identifying a word from a recording which is played to them.”
