aprosodia

APROSODIA

refers to the absence of normal variations in rhythm, stress, and pitch of speech, resulting in monotone or flat speech. This may be present due to a brain injury or have emotional or psychopathological origins. Also known as aprosody. See motor aprosodia- sensory aprosodia.

APROSODIA: “A person with aprosodia speaks in a monotone manner. “
